Fibroids and Apples :)

Amy called on Friday with the awesome (I guess) news that my uterus was normal size and thickness and there were no fibroids! I didn't even know what they were looking for so I guess thats all good news! ha! The Prometrium that I started Friday night is kicking my butt in the way of making me super sleepy but has not completed its job yet! BOO!

I didn't have to work either day this weekend (actually I worked a few hours Saturday for OT) and it was AWESOME!! I honestly don't even remember what we did Saturday! ha! Sunday we cleaned cleaned cleaned and watched my JAYHAWKS lose in the Sweet 16 I stand corrected it was the ELITE 8! these meds are making me loopy!!! either way it was a sad sad day! :(

So far today hasn't been to exciting either. I did get to go over to my BFF's desk and see the amazingly beautiful color her bridesmaids are wearing in her wedding in September! I took her this red shiney apple for a snack since she showed me the color swatch! I'm almost 100% positive she would've shown me whether I brought her an apple or not ;) I really hope you enjoyed your apple Stephie! I really enjoyed the color swatch! :)

Fertility Woes

Last Wednesday I had my annual check-up with my OBGYN Amy, I planned on talking to her about fertility/infertility since we had been trying to get pregnant for 6 months and nothing and my cycles were between 42 and 46 days long for about 7 months. I went, had my appointment and she took some blood to check my thyroid levels, set me up for a sonogram to check my uterus, and sent me in a prescription for Prometrium.

Today was my sonogram, it was super quick and easy and whatever they were checking I should know about by next Wednesday. I am starting the Prometrium tomorrow night, 400mg every night for 5 nights. Apparently this drug is going to make me REALLY tired and I should get at least 8 hours, preferrably 9 or 10 hours of sleep. YIKES! I barely get 5 hours with all the overtime! On cycle day 21 (not sure when that will be yet) I have to go get a blood draw to see if I ovulated! Anyway I'm excited to get this all started and get pregnant!! :) :) :)

Highlight of my year thus far

Yesterday my beautiful cousin Erika gave birth to the most precious baby boy Garrik Michael Payne! I love him so much! She didn't realize she was in labor and didn't go to the hospital until she was already 7cm dialated! Within the hour she was at a 10 and ready to push! It took almost 2 hours of pushing to get that baby here but he was well worth it I'm sure! :) I can't WAIT to get to go see him again on April 2nd!
