Christmas TIIIIME!!

Well Christmas has now come and gone, hopefully we'll have a little tyke at next Christmas! I didn't get anything to exciting besides my amazing(used) sewing machine from my grandparents and some boots with the fur from Ty.

We had some AWESOME news and some very sad news right before Christmas! First with the awesome news! Our friends Eric, Mal, and Haydon are adding another bebe(hopefully a princess) to the family!!! The babe will arrive either end of August or beginning of September, I'm SO HAPPY for them!! now its Melissa, Adam, and Briley's AND my and Ty's turn!!

Sad news time.....my good friend CB had a miscarriage a few days before Christmas :( they just did a DNC  yesterday and its been very hard on her emotionally and physically :( my heart just breaks for her! We decided it's just God's way of giving them more time to get ready physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially for the little babe, he or she will come when God sees fit :)
Also my friend/pharmacist from work lost his father kind of unexpectedly on the 23rd :( We(Alli, Chris, Marla, and Porschia) took a little rode trip down to the funeral this week. Jason is holding up ok but obvisouly still has his moments. His dad pretty much raised him by himself and they were best friends. My heart definitely went out to him!

So this Christmas was filled with a lot of great news and love and some very sad news. This Christmas definitely won't be forgotten for many reasons thats for sure!

Tis the Season for Overtime!!!

In the pharmacy world the late fall/winter/early spring is filled with OVERTIME!!!! and LOTS of it!!! this week we have already had 8 hours MANDATORY and then they added on 12 more hours of MANDATORY OT, so we have to at least do 20 hours in 2 weeks and we can do as much as we possibly could imagine!

Anyway the point of this post is to just say this overtime crap is really cutting into some other very important things going on right now, Christmas shopping(I have bought T a pair of house shoes so far....thats it!), holiday parties, CLEANING the house, sleep, and most importantly baby making!!! how does this job expect a girl to get pregnant when they are requiring us to work NO LESS than 60 hours a week?!!? oh yea I have another job that I work at least 20 hours a week at!!

Ok off rant :) I do love overtime pay it just takes a little to much of my extra time needed for much more important things!

You Fail

Dear Pill Popper Lady,
If you are going to go through all the trouble to go to 4 different doctors for your Oxys and the trouble of knowing when you can and can not run them through this insurance or that insurance, please at LEAST go to a different pharmacy each time too! We have records too and we see that you just got 120 pills from Dr. A three days ago and now you are trying to get 90 more from Dr. B! Better luck next time!

Starting Out

I’m going to try this blog thing out. I’ve been pretty addicted to reading other blogs, mainly crafty, parenting, and adoption blogs. This blog will be about pretty much nothing other than my day to day life as a wife and a pharmacy tech in a crazy little town until there are children running rampant in the house, then it will be about how crazy I’m going! My goal is to post at least once a week for now, hopefully I’ll get up to every other day! :)
